As another successful season draws to a close, I want to extend my sincere thanks to every single one of you for your membership over the past year.
We are endeavouring to improve and maintain one of the most iconic buildings in New Quay.
We have decided that a maintenance month is well overdue and have chosen to close from 5th January – 6th February 2026, hopefully minimising disruption to be back open ready for half-term.
To be blunt we are asking for some help with donations and contributions towards the refit!
The directors will then have to prioritise the work list depending on funds available.
If you are able to help, details on how to donate will follow, either through a link to a Go Fund Me page or through the Smart Club app or website in the same way as booking a YC event. The treasurer has also asked me to remind everyone about the Gift Aid benefits.
There’s ongoing correspondence with Ceredigion County Council, who also have works to do on the building. They will be notified, again, in the hope that they can utilise this window of opportunity too.
Your support is the backbone of this club. The committee and I are confident that with your help, we can create a clubhouse that we can all be proud of for many more years to come.
Thank you for your time and your commitment to our club.
Fair winds,
Will
