New Quay Yacht Club (NQYC) offers a vibrant sailing programme with activities for sailors of all skill levels, from competitive racing to friendly training opportunities. Our community includes both dinghy and cruiser sailing, with events designed to foster skill development, camaraderie, and an appreciation for the beautiful surroundings of Cardigan Bay.

Dinghy Racing

NQYC’s dinghy racing series includes seasonal regattas that welcome sailors of all abilities. Whether you’re an experienced racer or a newcomer, NQYC’s inclusive environment offers the perfect setting to enjoy the thrill of dinghy racing.

Cruiser Sailing and Racing

Led by our Cruiser Captain, Chris Seal, the cruiser sailing programme includes regular midweek series, the Keelboat Regatta, and participation in Bart’s Bash, a global event supporting the Andrew Simpson Foundation. All races are conducted under IRC rules, with opportunities for sailors of all experience levels to get involved. For those new to sailing, NQYC and its members offer training and support to help you gain confidence on the water.
